DaYan Skewb V2 (Magnetic + Ball-Core + MagLev) – Ultimate Speed & Stability Redefined

Unleash Next-Level Skewb Performance with DaYan’s Cutting-Edge Engineering

The DaYan Skewb V2 (Magnetic + Ball-Core + MagLev) is a technological masterpiece designed for the modern-day speedcuber who refuses to settle for average. Combining three elite technologies—powerful magnetic alignment, a ball-core stabilization system, and the ultra-modern MagLev tensioning mechanism—this Skewb is engineered to provide peak performance, lightning-fast turning, and unparalleled stability in every twist.

The V2 is a significant leap forward from its predecessors, making it not just a puzzle, but a performance tool for both competitive speedcubers and high-end puzzle collectors. With DaYan’s signature design quality and innovative approach, every turn is precise, every corner is aligned, and every session feels frictionless.

Advanced Features That Set the DaYan Skewb V2 Apart

1. Magnetic Core-to-Corner System

Unlike traditional magnetized cubes that rely solely on corner-edge magnet placement, the DaYan Skewb V2 uses strong core-to-corner magnets for deeper alignment control. This system greatly improves auto-alignment, helping the cube snap effortlessly into place after every rotation. Whether you’re casually solving or racing against the clock, this magnet layout enhances consistency and flow in your turns.

2. Ball-Core Stability

The internal ball-core mechanism adds a new dimension of rotational stability. Especially beneficial for aggressive solvers or those seeking better control in competition, the ball-core acts as a stabilizing hub that keeps the layers grounded and reduces unwanted wobbles and misalignments. The result? An impressively fluid and grounded solving experience.

3. MagLev Technology for Magnetic Tensioning

What truly distinguishes this model is its MagLev system, which replaces the traditional metal spring with two opposing magnets. This magnetic levitation system reduces mechanical friction, delivering ultra-smooth, silent turning while extending the cube’s lifespan. The absence of springs also means no spring noise, no lubrication leakage, and minimal wear and tear over time.

4. Vibrant Stickerless Color Scheme

Aesthetically, the Skewb V2 doesn’t disappoint. Featuring DaYan’s signature stickerless color palette, the cube has vibrant, high-contrast shades that make color recognition easy—even under intense lighting or competitive pressure. Each side is molded, not stickered, ensuring long-term durability and no chance of peeling or fading.

5. Ergonomic Concave Centers

The sculpted, concave center pieces not only elevate the cube’s visual appeal but serve a functional purpose: they enhance finger grip and rotation accuracy. Whether you’re performing a fast solve or just casually practicing, the cube feels secure and natural in your hand.

6. Compact and Balanced Dimensions

With a compact size of 55.0mm x 55.0mm x 55.0mm, this Skewb fits comfortably in most hand sizes, maintaining a perfect balance between agility and control. The overall feel is lightweight yet substantial, making long solving sessions enjoyable without hand fatigue.
